Decide who acts first when two fighters have the same speed

Two fighters with equal speed make the turn order flip between runs, and the player swears the game cheats. This entry gives a tie rule that is stable, fair to both sides and easy to explain on screen.

Why this works

A fight must start the same way every time, or players can neither learn it nor trust it. When equal speed is settled by a fixed chain of fair rules, with the favoured side alternating, nobody gets a lasting edge and a replay matches the original.

When not to use it

Skip it when your game has no speed at all, because everyone acts together or in a fixed circle. If you want the opening to be a surprise, roll once when the fight starts and keep that result for the whole fight.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Decide who acts first when two fighters have the same speed" (read_entry turn-order-with-speed-ties) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
