My AI says every item on the release checklist is done, but one step never ran
A checklist that only ticks boxes can show green while the step underneath it has failed or was never looked at. This entry gives your AI a runner that marks such steps as blocked or unchecked, so a green board really means ready to publish.
Why this works
Checks depend on each other: a result is only worth something if the steps beneath it held. Separating failed, blocked and never run keeps a green tick from sitting on a broken base and makes the earliest real failure the one you fix first.
When not to use it
Skip it for a short list of independent checks, where a plain tick list is enough. Also do not let it replace playing the game yourself once before release, since it only knows the checks you wrote.
In the full entry
- What to build, step by step
- Starting values and the reason for each
- 2 common mistakes and the fix
- 30 lines of example code with 3 checks that pass
- How your AI shows you that it works
Say this to your AI
