I asked my AI to fix one line and it rewrote the whole story file
A small request can come back as a full rewrite, with your wording changed and no way to see where. This entry measures how much of a file really changed, ignoring spacing, so you can refuse oversized fixes before they land.
Why this works
A small request should leave a small footprint. Ignoring spacing and blank lines, then counting only lines that truly differ, shows how much the story really changed, so a person can still read the change before accepting it.
When not to use it
Turn it off when you really want a rewrite, such as a new draft of a scene, or a clean-up of the whole file. Then judge the result by playing it, not by how much changed.
