Size the next raid on your base by what you own, without sudden jumps
A base that gets richer should attract bigger raids, but a straight line makes late raids impossible, and a sudden jump after a long break feels like a trap. This entry gives a growth curve that flattens, moves a step at a time and has a hard ceiling.
Why this works
The first treasures change a base more than the later ones, so the threat should rise quickly at first and flatten out. Limiting each step from the last raid keeps the player from feeling ambushed after a long pause.
When not to use it
Skip it when raids are meant to be a story event at fixed moments, or when the player should be able to prepare for one known big attack. Then script the size by hand and announce it ahead.
