Spielerando

Keep an "eliminate the targets in order" quest alive after a wrong kill

The order is guard, sniper, guard, captain. The player does guard, sniper, guard, then the wrong sniper, then continues correctly, and the quest has lost track and starts again from nothing. Here is how to reset only as much as the mistake deserves.

Why this works

A mistake rarely throws away everything: the latest steps may already be the start of a new correct run. Keeping the longest piece that still fits, instead of starting from nothing, treats the player's progress as it really stands.

When not to use it

Do not be this forgiving when a wrong move should punish, such as a ritual or a lock where one slip must restart the whole order. There reset to zero and say so in the quest text.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Keep an "eliminate the targets in order" quest alive after a wrong kill" (read_entry ordered-kill-quest-after-a-wrong-kill) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
