Refill crafting energy one point at a time, and stop the clock when it is full

Each craft costs a point of energy that comes back slowly. The usual bug is the wrong start of the countdown: spend a point from a full bar and it refills at once, because the clock was running all the time. This entry starts and stops the countdown at the right moments and survives long absences.

Why this works

A countdown should belong to the moment it began, not to the moment someone looks at it. Remembering only when it started and working out the rest from the clock makes closing the app harmless and stops quick glances from wiping out progress.

When not to use it

Do not rely on the device clock when players could gain by changing it, as in a game with real-money value or ranked play. Ask a trusted clock on the server there, or make time-gated rewards sound only after a check.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Refill crafting energy one point at a time, and stop the clock when it is full" (read_entry idle-energy-refill-timer) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
