Merge a joining friend's story progress with the host's world
When a friend joins your world after playing alone, whose story counts? Some things must come from the host, some from the guest, some from whoever got further. Here is how to merge them by clear rules and spot the combinations that make no sense together.
Why this works
When two worlds meet, there is no single right answer for every fact. Deciding in advance, fact by fact, whose version wins, and then checking that the result still hangs together, keeps the shared story from carrying things that never existed.
When not to use it
Skip it when the guest is only a visitor and takes nothing home, so nothing needs merging. Or in a game where each player keeps their own story and meets in a separate shared place; there the worlds never mix.
