Median clear time looks shorter in version B, but the times are very uneven
Times to finish a level are lopsided, with a few very long ones, so the usual tests for averages fit badly. This entry shows how to ask the question about the typical time directly, by reshuffling your own numbers, and how to read the answer as a range.
Why this works
Reshuffling your own numbers many times shows how much the typical time would wobble by pure luck, without assuming the times follow any nice shape. If the real difference sits well outside that wobble, it is probably not luck.
When not to use it
Do not trust it with only a handful of times, or when many players gave up before finishing and so have no time at all. Compare how many finished first, or give quitters a capped time, then look at the typical time.
