Plan a time loop where only the player's knowledge carries over

In a story that repeats the same day, the world resets but what the hero learned stays. The design question is how many repeats the puzzle needs and whether it can be solved at all. This entry computes the fewest loops and a plan for each.

Why this works

A loop puzzle is a chain of things learned, since everything else resets. Searching loop by loop for what could be learned next shows the shortest route and tells you at once if a needed fact can never be found.

When not to use it

Poor for loops where objects, skills or relationships carry over, since the search assumes only knowledge survives. It also grows too large when each loop offers many actions. For those, build the puzzle on paper and test it by playing.
