How often does the host pull players back, and for whom is it worst?
Counting snap-backs in total says little when some players only stayed a minute. This entry shows how to turn them into a fair rate and how to avoid blaming the wrong people on the basis of a very short stay.
Why this works
A fair rate compares like with like: events per minute actually spent playing. Adding up all events and all minutes lets long stays count for more, because they hold more evidence, while a visit of one minute says almost nothing about how the game treated that person.
When not to use it
It is the wrong tool for asking how many people were hit at all, because a rate hides that, so count the affected players separately. It also misleads when all the pulls come in one burst at a single bad moment of the server. Then look at when they happened, not at the rate.
