Settle two fighters hitting each other on the same moment

Two shots land on the same frame, and the first one kills. Does the dead one still get to hit back? Does the loot drop twice? Does a third hit count as a second kill? This entry sets the rules so such trades come out the same every time.

Why this works

Things that happen at the same moment must not depend on who is processed first, or the order of a list decides who wins. Judging all of them against how things stood at the start, then applying them in a fixed order, makes the outcome fair and repeatable.

When not to use it

Skip it in slow turn-based games where only one side acts at a time, since there is nothing simultaneous. In a game where the faster side should simply win, use speed or priority to decide who strikes first, and drop the trade.
