Do players pick the top dialogue choice just because it is on top?
If one answer is picked far more than the others, is it the better answer or just the one in the best place? This entry shows what to log and when the data simply cannot tell you.
Why this works
A pick only means something when you compare it with what chance alone would give. If an answer always sits in the same place, taste and place are the same thing, so only a mixed order can pull the two apart.
When not to use it
Skip it when the order of the answers carries meaning, such as a ladder from polite to rude, or when you have very few players. Then ask a few people directly or watch them play instead of reading numbers.
