Spielerando

Can I replay exactly what a tester did, and know the replay is the same story?

"It broke at the third door" is useless without the way there. A short log of choices can bring a bug back on demand, but only if it was recorded against the same version of the story. This entry checks a log before you trust it.

Why this works

A bug report is only as good as the way back to it. Choices alone mean nothing unless they were made in the same version of the story, so you check that first and refuse a run that would quietly lead somewhere else.

When not to use it

It does not help when a bug depends on timing, the device or things the log does not record, such as the speed of the tester's clicks. Then record a screen video or ask for the exact steps in words.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Can I replay exactly what a tester did, and know the replay is the same story?" (read_entry replayable-tester-run-log) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
