The host is at chapter eight, but how much of the story have the guests seen?
In many co-op games only one person owns the save, so the story counter says the whole group is far along. Friends who came and went have seen only fragments. This entry shows how to measure each person's real share of the story and which moments they missed.
Why this works
A save tells you where the story stands, not who was there for it. Experience belongs to each person, so you have to ask what that person actually saw, and compare it with what the story offered along the way.
When not to use it
It is the wrong tool for a story where scenes can be taken in any order, or where missing a scene costs nothing. There, a share of seen moments measures nothing useful; ask guests what they would like to see next.
