Let clouds drift in layers and loop around without ever popping in view

A calm sky behind a puzzle is mostly clouds crossing slowly. The trouble starts at the edge: a cloud that jumps back to the other side while still half visible, wide clouds that vanish early, and drift that reverses badly when the wind changes. Here is a loop that wraps clouds exactly when they are out of sight.

Why this works

The eye notices a change only when it can see it. If the jump from one side to the other happens while the cloud is completely out of view, nothing is noticed. Slower, higher layers add depth, because far things appear to move less.

When not to use it

Not when the clouds matter to play, such as ones the player can stand on, steer or that must stay in one place. Then each cloud needs its own remembered position and the screen loop would hide where it really is.
