Catch broken levels the AI draws before the game starts on them

When an AI draws levels as rows of letters, one missing character gives you a crooked room, a hero who falls out of the world or a level with no way out. This entry gives a check that names each problem and where it sits, so you can send it straight back.

Why this works

A level written as letters is just data, and data can be checked before anything runs on it. Listing every problem with its place, not only the first, lets the AI correct all of them in one go instead of trading one error for the next.

When not to use it

Not enough on its own: a level can pass every rule and still be impossible to finish. For that, play it or check that the jumps are reachable. It also gets in the way when you are still sketching rough levels by hand and want to try them quickly.

In the full entry

  • What to build, step by step
  • Starting values and the reason for each
  • 4 common mistakes and the fix
  • 23 lines of example code with 5 checks that pass
  • How your AI shows you that it works

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Catch broken levels the AI draws before the game starts on them" (read_entry action-level-file-validator) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
