Find out why your character animation shows half a frame or jumps
When a character walk looks cut off, shifted or flickers between poses, the picture holding all the frames often does not divide evenly. This entry gives a check that tells you what is off and by how much, before you ask the AI to fix the wrong thing.
Why this works
A sheet of frames is cut by arithmetic, so one pixel of spare width quietly shifts every frame after it. Measuring the sheet before guessing the cut tells you the real fault and its size, and one shared way of cutting keeps all frames in step.
When not to use it
Wrong when frames have different sizes, as in sheets packed tightly by a tool; those come with a list of where each frame lies, and you should read that list instead. It also cannot tell you whether the drawings themselves are well aligned.
