Spielerando

Choose which active quest the on-screen marker follows

With six quests open, the arrow on the screen jumps between them as you walk, or always points at the story quest nobody wants right now. Here is a rule with the player's choice first, a stable automatic pick second, and no flicker.

Why this works

A guiding arrow is trusted only while it is steady. Making a new target win only when it is clearly better, not just slightly better, removes the flipping when two goals are about equally near, while the player's own pin still always wins.

When not to use it

Do not choose automatically when the game has one main goal at a time, or when the player wants to find things alone; a single fixed marker, or none at all, is clearer there.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Choose which active quest the on-screen marker follows" (read_entry which-quest-the-tracker-shows) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
