Saved camera spots on number keys, and a way back to where I was

Players want to save a few places on the map and jump to them, but after the jump they often cannot find their way back. Here is how a saved spot should remember zoom as well as place, what the same key does the second time, and the trap when you nudge the view after arriving.

Why this works

People return to a few places again and again, so a place should be one key away, and the same key should take them back. Treating being near a saved spot as being at it makes the return work even after a small nudge.

When not to use it

Bookmarks add little to a small map or a game where players rarely move far, and they can confuse newcomers with hidden keys. Show saved places on screen as buttons, or drop the feature if one overview already shows everything.
