Check that the rules posted in a rule-based horror game can all be followed

In horror where a notice lists what you must and must never do, two rules can quietly make survival impossible. This entry searches for a plan that obeys every rule, and when there is none, names the rules whose removal would make it possible.

Why this works

A rule game promises that obeying is possible. If no way through exists, the player feels cheated rather than scared. Trying every way through the night, and then removing one rule at a time, finds both the problem and its source.

When not to use it

Wrong when the rules are meant to trap the player, or when a rule is a lie the story later reveals. Then a hidden contradiction is the horror. Mark those rules as deliberate, and check only the ones you promise are true.
