Players mash the button and skip a line they never saw, or the text will not skip at all
A press that finishes the text and a press that moves on are two different jobs, and a player who taps quickly can trigger both on the next line by accident. Your AI can lay out which presses do what, including the short pause that protects the line that follows.
Why this works
A press means different things at different moments of a line: just after it appears, while it types, or after it finished. Naming those moments and giving each a rule makes the behaviour a table the AI can test, not a feel.
When not to use it
In a game for players who read slowly or use special controls, give a setting to remove the protection pauses and the typing effect altogether.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "Players mash the button and skip a line they never saw, or the text will not skip at all" (read_entry rpg-mashing-skips-the-next-line) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
