Players send the same friend ten life gifts a day, or none because the limit never resets
Sending lives to friends needs two kinds of limit that people mix up. Here is a small bookkeeping rule for both, how it resets at midnight without a timer, and why a failed send must not use up the allowance.
Why this works
A limit only feels fair when it is simple, predictable and resets at a moment the player recognises. Counting calendar days instead of running timers means the allowance cannot drift, get stuck or be lost when the app is closed.
When not to use it
Skip it in a game where gifts cost the sender nothing real and nobody could farm them, such as a small cooperative game among a few close friends. Limits there only add refusals; trust the players and keep it open.
