Count travel days over mixed ground when you cannot stop mid-tile
A road is quick, a forest slow, a mountain very slow, and the party should sleep on a tile, not between two. Dividing the total by the hours in a day gives the wrong number of days. Here is how to plan the walk with real camp spots and a tile that is longer than a day.
Why this works
People camp at places, not at hours. When a stretch cannot be split, some of every day is lost at the stop, so the real number of days is higher than the sum divided by a day, and the map must show where each night is spent.
When not to use it
Skip it for a game where travel is a quick jump and the journey itself is not played, or where the party can stop anywhere on the road. Then a simple count of hours is honest enough and easier to explain.
