Spielerando

Both players land the final blow in the same instant

Two fighters strike each other down together, and the game declares the one who was processed first the winner, which feels random and starts arguments. This entry shows how to decide such moments the same way every time, and when it is a draw.

Why this works

Fairness means the order in which the game happens to look at players must not decide who lives. Everyone acts on the same starting picture, and the results are judged afterwards, so a tie is a real outcome instead of a hidden favour.

When not to use it

Wrong when a draw makes no sense in your game, such as a duel that must end with a winner. Then add a clear extra rule, like a rematch or sudden death, instead of quietly favouring one side by processing order.
