Keep impossible scores off a casual game's leaderboard without any secret code
Someone posts a score nobody could reach and the list stops being fun. Perfect cheat-proofing does not exist for a phone game, but a few checks on what could really happen catch the silly cases. This entry shows how to make the AI check a submitted result against the game's own limits.
Why this works
Every game has limits set by its own rules and by what hands can do. A result outside those limits is false whatever the app claims, so checking the plain facts of a run catches the silly cases without any secret to guard.
When not to use it
Skip it when real money or prizes depend on the ranking: a determined cheater passes these checks. Then record the whole run and replay it on your side, or drop the public list.
