Allow a craft that makes the pack lighter even when the player is overloaded
A player carrying too much ore wants to turn it into one light bar, but the game says the pack is full and refuses. Or a tiny bar of iron is allowed even though the result is heavy. This entry judges the weight after the craft and slows the overloaded player down gently.
Why this works
A rule should be judged by where the player ends up, not where they start. A craft that makes the load lighter helps an overloaded player and should never be blocked. Making overload a slope, not a wall, turns a failure into a choice about speed.
When not to use it
Do not use weight in a game where carrying is not the challenge, such as a fast action game or a story game. Counting grams there only adds chores. If you want a limit, a plain slot count is easier to read.
