Daily free attempts reset at the wrong hour or can be refilled by changing the clock
Many games give a few free tries each day. Resetting every 24 hours after the first try feels random, resetting at server time feels unfair far from home, and trusting the device clock invites cheating. Here is a day counter that is predictable and hard to abuse.
Why this works
A day means something to the player: the calendar on their wall. Counting calendar days instead of hours since the first try gives a reset they can predict, and remembering the latest day seen makes turning the clock back pointless.
When not to use it
Skip the local midnight for a shared event with one fixed start for everyone, like a weekly contest. Use the server's time and one common reset, or players in other zones get an unfair head start.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "Daily free attempts reset at the wrong hour or can be refilled by changing the clock" (read_entry daily-limit-resets-at-local-midnight) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
