Switching whom I watch after dying makes the camera lurch

When you are out of the round and flip to watching another player, the camera should glide across, not teleport and not stop and restart. The smooth glide must also behave the same on a slow computer as on a fast one. Here is a motion rule that does both and what you must not reset when the target changes.

Why this works

A camera feels smooth when its motion carries on through changes instead of restarting. Keeping the speed when the target changes, and using a movement that gives the same path whatever the frame time, means a switch just bends the path rather than breaking it.

When not to use it

Do not glide when the point of the view is to cut, like a replay or a dramatic reveal, or when players must see a new place at once. Use a hard cut or a quick fade there.
