Coin totals show long decimals or the shares of a reward do not add up
A balance reads a strange tail of digits after a simple sum, or a reward split between three helpers hands out one coin too many or too few. Computers store tenths badly. This entry keeps money in whole smallest units and splits a total so that nothing is lost.
Why this works
Whole numbers add exactly, and when a split leaves a remainder, handing the leftovers to the shares that lost the most keeps both the total and the fairness.
When not to use it
Skip it for in-game numbers that are never shown as money and may be fractional, such as a speed or a probability.
