Find characters who are in two places or arrive impossibly fast
A story with a cast moving through the day quickly collects mistakes like a person at the café and at the library in the same hour, or a trip that takes one hour on the map and five on the clock. This entry lists them all before a player finds one.
Why this works
A person can only be where they have had time to get to. Writing down who is where and when turns a vague worry about plot holes into simple comparisons that a machine can make on every edit, long before anyone plays.
When not to use it
Pointless when characters move freely and the story never says when or where, such as a dream or a game of loose scenes. There a strict timetable creates false alarms. Keep it for stories that stake their drama on alibis and arrival times.
