Write the line "you found three candles" correctly in English and German

Story games say what you picked up in full sentences, and a sentence like "You found 1 candles" or "Du hast ein Schlüssel gefunden" breaks the mood at once. This entry builds the line from a word list in both languages, with the little rules each one hides.

Why this works

Grammar belongs to each word, not to the sentence. Storing every word with its own forms, and keeping the rules in one place, means a translator sees all forms side by side and nobody has to patch endings onto words one by one.

When not to use it

Skip it when the line is written by hand for each case, as in a short story game with a few fixed pickups. Then plain text is simpler and sounds better. Reach for word lists only when items are many or a third language is coming.
