Story choice stats
Your AI counts what players really chose in a branching story and which endings they reached, and compares that with the story as you wrote it. It shows choices that are hardly choices because nearly everyone picks the same thing, endings nobody has seen, and picks that are not in your story at all.
When you need it
When you want to know whether your choices really matter to players, or an ending never seems to turn up. Run a story path check as well, because these numbers cannot tell a rare ending from an impossible one.
Say this to your AI
Use the story choice stats from Spielerando on my event log. First write out the story: scenes as steps, choices, what each needs and changes, and every ending. Draw it as a Mermaid state diagram, and walk every path with story-graph-check. Then compare the real picks and endings with that drawing. Show me each pick with its sure range, and for each ending nobody reached, the path that leads there or the fact that none does. If too few people played, say so.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
Settings
- minPlayers (30): Under this many players at a choice, the report will not judge it.
- oneSidedAbove (0.8): If one option is certain to be above this share, the choice counts as one-sided.

Common questions
do players really use my story choices
Count who picked what, each player once. If nearly everyone picks the same option, it is hardly a choice, and the reason is usually in how it is written.
nobody has seen one of my endings is it broken
Maybe, or it may just be rare. The numbers cannot tell. Walk every path through the story: if none leads there, it is a bug.
what if a player reloads and picks again
Their last pick counts, and they count once, so reloads cannot tilt the numbers. The report says how many changed their mind, which often tells you something too.
