State machine check
Your AI walks through everything a character, door, shop or game mode can do, and finds out whether it can get stuck, whether some state can never happen, and whether your own rules always hold. The report states exactly how far it walked, so it works as proof your AI can show you, with the exact moves that lead to each problem.
When you need it
Before you trust anything with several modes: a boss fight, a shop, a turn order, a door puzzle. Ask for the report after each change, and have your AI show you what it walked and where it stopped.
Say this to your AI
Use the stuck check from Spielerando on my boss fight. Find out whether it can get stuck, and show me how far you walked and the exact moves to any problem.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
Settings
- maxStates (100000): The walk stops after this many different states. The report says if that happened.
- maxSteps (32): How many moves one path is followed before it stops. The report states this number.
- maxPaths (200000): How many paths are walked one by one before stopping. The report states this number too.
Your AI gets the code
The finished code and math come through the Spielerando connection, so your AI can use them right away. Connect your AI
Common questions
how do i make sure my game cannot get stuck
Have your AI walk every state your game can be in and list the ones with no way out. Each one comes with the exact moves that lead to it, so you can try it yourself.
how far can a check really go
Every different state can be walked completely. Every single path often cannot, because anything with a loop has endless paths. So the report says how many paths it walked and at what length it stopped.
can i check my own rules for my game
Yes. Write a rule such as "health is never below zero" and it is tested in every state. Rules about order, such as "never twice in a row", are tested along each path up to the stated limit.
