Getting started
What is Spielerando?
A free achievement tracker. You link your game accounts once and get one public profile with every game you played, every achievement you earned, how rare it is, and a points total (EXP) where rarer achievements are worth more.
Which platforms are supported?
Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, GOG, RetroAchievements, Battle.net (World of Warcraft, StarCraft II), Fortnite, Trackmania and minigames.world (free browser games) today (Fortnite and Trackmania with milestones set by Spielerando, since these games have no achievements). League of Legends is in preparation; Xbox and PlayStation are planned.
Does it cost anything?
No. Spielerando is free and paid for by ads (Google AdSense); personalised ads only with your consent. Some links to games you do not own yet go to a shop and are marked as affiliate links.
How do I sign in?
With Google, Discord or a one-time code sent to your e-mail address. There is no password. Sign in.
Linking and syncing
How do I link Steam?
On your account page, choose "Sign in through Steam". Steam confirms the account is yours; we never see your Steam password. Your Steam profile's game details must be public.
How do I link GOG?
Enter your GOG username on your account page. Your GOG profile must be public.
Why do many of my GOG games say "not played yet"?
GOG only records playtime and achievements for games started through GOG Galaxy. Read why.
How often are my stats updated?
When you link an account, when you press "Sync now", and automatically every few hours. Rarity values are refreshed about once a week.
How do I remove a platform?
Press "Unlink" on your account page. All games and achievements of that account are deleted from Spielerando right away.
EXP, rarity and Meta Games
How is EXP calculated?
Each achievement is worth 10 × (1 + log₂(100 ÷ rarity)) EXP: about 10 when everyone has it, about 76 at 1%, about 110 at 0.1% or rarer. Details.
What are Meta Games?
A curated list of blockbusters and classics. Their achievements are worth ×3 (Legendary), ×2 (Epic) or ×1.5 (Rare) EXP on every platform. All Meta Games.
What are meta achievements?
Spielerando's own badges across all your platforms, like Polyglot or Ultra Rare. Their EXP counts towards your rank.
Why does the leaderboard show fewer games than my profile?
The leaderboard counts games you played; your profile also lists games you own but never started.
What is the backlog quest?
Every week Spielerando picks one unplayed game from your library. Unlock any achievement in it that week and you get +300 bonus EXP. Your profile shows the quest, what your backlog is worth, and what to play next. More.
Sharing, invitations and embeds
How do I show my stats on Discord or Twitch?
Post your profile link in Discord to get a preview card, or use the banner, Twitch panel and stream overlay from your account page. Guide.
How do invitations work?
Share your invite link from your account page. When a friend signs up with it, links a platform and has played a game, you get +250 EXP and they get +100 EXP, for up to ten friends.
Ratings, comments and privacy
Who can rate a game?
Only verified players: you need the game in a linked account, played or with at least one achievement. Ratings show your playtime next to your review.
Are blog articles written by AI?
Some are written with the help of AI. Those are marked "AI-assisted" and are reviewed by the editorial team before they are published.
Is my profile public?
Yes: your profile name, games, achievements, EXP, rank, comments and ratings are public. Your e-mail address is never shown. See our privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
Write to [email protected] from the address of your account and we delete it with all its data.
